The Diary of Charles L Fuller
This small diary was found in the collection of Louis L and Josephine Crosby in their home in Thompsonville, Michigan. Louis L Crosby was the grandson of Charles L Fuller. The diary is currently in the collection of their granddaughter Deborah Storbeck. The front page says, Mr. C. L. Fuller Carlton, N.Y. Post address Albion N. Y. Box 260.
The diary begins on January 1, 1868, and posting ends on April 4, 1868. Between April 4, 1868 and the U.S. Census for Thetford Township, Genesee County, Michigan taken on July 2, 1870 the family left Orleans County, New York, and moved to Genesee County, Michigan. Family members listed in the 1870 census are, Samuel C Fuller 54, Mary 53, Francis J 14, Eliza 26, Charles L. 28, Margaret J 25, Charles L. 1.
